Defect #2813
closed415 Unsupported Media Type on SIP Invite from DIDww
0%
Description
SIP2SIP's CDRTool SIP trace says:
415 Unsupported Media Type for INVITE
UDP port 5060
The SIP forwarding is sent from PBXww via DIDww (virtual numbers provider).
Calls do not get transferred to Zoiper (softphone) on Android, even though Zoiper indicates it is registered to SIP2SIP.
On the other hand, EyeBeam (by CounterPath) on Windows DOES work.
Note that EyeBeam was NOT running while I was testing Zoiper on Android!
I was using wifi, but I doubt that would be the cause. Skype works in that configuration.
Note also that I had an account with Sipgate (until they closed), and their forwarding to SIP2SIP worked (with Zoiper on my Android phone).
I've filed a ticket with flynumber.com - my DIDww/PBXww provider as well

That's a response code returned by a client device, Zoiper in your case. If other clients work just fine there is nothing we can check for in the system, since your client is refusing incoming calls. My guess is there are codec issues, as in, your provider sends the call in a codec your SIP client does not support.
